More Than a Talk: TEDxBelltown Women 2025 Sparks Collective Rise Through Bold Storytelling

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seattle, WA — TEDxBelltown Women returns November 8, 2025, with the powerful theme “Our Heroes’ Journey” a reflection of the triumphs, transformations, and truths that shape how we rise individually and collectively. From its roots as a local gathering to its growing reach on TEDx official and beyond, TEDxBelltown Women has become a launchpad for courageous voices with its annual all-day event.
More than a stage, TEDxBelltown Women is a curated movement. Produced by a small local team with a background in PR and marketing and partnered with its fiscal sponsor The Well Mind Project, the event assembles a bold lineup of thought leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community changemakers, many of whom have faced systems not built for them and emerged stronger. The focus is not just on what they do, but who they are: storytellers unafraid to go deep, get real, and spark ideas worth spreading. The foundation of TED.com.
“We choose our speakers based on unique truths, uniqueness, and the validity of new and emerging ideas, not titles,” says organizer Liz Galloway. “We look for the kind of stories that stay with you, the ones that transform grief into grace, silence into voice, and isolation into connection.”
2025’s lineup will include first-generation founders, science-based projects, transformations in women sports, trauma-informed educators, industry disruptors, spoken word artists, and emerging voices whose impact reaches beyond the spotlight. The event blends TEDx Talks with live music, an original collaborative anthem debut, wellness experiences, pop-up oyster and caviar tastings, and immersive audience activations that feel more like real connections than superficial moments.
Returning as the official media partner, Seattle Magazine will provide coverage and visibility throughout the season and be on site for attendees. KOMO News returns as a supporting media partner, and local emcee Holly Menino. Other key partners include The Winemakers Reserve, The Seattle Chamber of Connection, SeaShucked, M agency and the “Whatever She’s Having” podcast.
"As both a social entrepreneur and public servant, I've learned that real change happens when we bridge the gap between community vision and actionable leadership. I'm thrilled to be speaking with 'Whatever She's Having' about events like TEDxBelltown Women, which are essential because they amplify voices that often go unheard in traditional spaces." shares Claire Sumadiwirya, candidate for Bellevue City Council and Whatever Shes Having Podcast Co-Host.
"We recognize that while we each have an individual story of triumph and transformation, our journeys are not complete without the love and support of our closest friends and allies. When we have a safe space to be vulnerable with others, our ability to discover new truths about ourselves is strengthened. We look forward to hearing the stories of this year’s speakers and having a chance to share our story," states Linda Hoffner, local Entreprenuer and Whatever Shes Having Podcast Co-Host.
The event production team is 100% women-led, with intentional design around accessibility, representation, and equity. TEDxBelltown Women offers tiered ticketing to ensure inclusive access, giveaways, and support, along with dedicated spaces for connection and community healing.

Because when one of us is seen, all of us rise.
