TEDxBelltown Women Announces 2025 Presenting Partner: Art Love Salon in Downtown Seattle

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The partnership sets the stage for TEDxBelltown Women to amplify unheard voices against the stunning backdrop of Seattle's premier cultural hub.

SEATTLE, Sept. 2025 — TEDxBelltown Women today announced a new presenting partnership with the Art Love Salon. Seattle’s 16,000-square-foot cultural hub in the historic Poll Building. The collaboration brings together two community-driven organizations to elevate ideas worth spreading, activate civic belonging, and showcase the creative energy at the heart of downtown Seattle, all happening November 8th.

As TEDxBelltown Women prepares for its full day of programing, the partnership will spotlight women leaders and storytellers alongside community salons, a public conference, and VIP experiences set in an inspirational artist-centered space. The 2025 speakers will bring their experience and voices to the stage with a range of stories from brain science, to global recycling chains, personal loss, growth in women’s sports equality to fleeing a war.

“Partnering with Art Love Salon lets us do what Seattle does best: turn ideas into impact,” said Liz Galloway, curator of TEDxBelltown Women and founder of The Well Mind Project. “Their civic commitment makes them an ideal partner as we elevate bold ideas and deliver community impact, underpinned by philanthropy and our nonprofit partnerships. Together, we’re providing an unforgettable experience for the TEDx event.”

The Art Love Salon is Seattle newest cultural destination. The gallery and event space is a revolutionary artistic eco-system with a free-admission, zero-commission model that ensures a welcoming space that creates connection and exploration. The foundational elements of the salon allow artists to keep 100% of their sales while inviting the public to experience world-class exhibitions in an inclusive, welcoming venue. A perfect fit for the TEDxBelltown Women’s community driven and supported event.

"At Art Love Salon, we understand that big ideas flourish in extraordinary settings," said Marty Griswold, director of Art Love Salon. "We’ve built a vibrant downtown gathering place designed to spark conversation, foster connection, and strengthen community. Hosting TEDxBelltown Women reflects our mission to be a catalyst for creativity and leadership in Seattle."

Why it matters

  • Community first: TEDxBelltown Women is an independently organized, volunteer-run program under the global TEDx license, designed to cultivate connection and amplify ideas worth spreading.
  • Access to art: Art Love Salon operates with free admission and a zero-commission policy for artists—expanding cultural access and economic opportunity.
  • Downtown momentum: The partnership helps activate one of Seattle’s most inspiring new cultural venues as a hub for events, talks, conversations, and community programming.

Grounding the collaboration is TEDxBelltown Women’s nonprofit partnership with The Well Mind Project, a Seattle-based 501(c)(3). This philanthropic framework enables foundation support and invites tax-deductible contributions, aligning the event with a broader mission of access, wellbeing, and supporting both underserved and women’s voices.

This year’s TEDxBelltown Women theme: Our Hero’s Journey is not just a framework; it is an invitation—a call for each of us to recognize the hero within, embrace the unknown, and discover the boundless possibilities that await on the other side of growth.  The event takes place November 8, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and tickets and reserved tables can be found at tedxbelltownwomen.com
