What Are TEDx Salons?

TEDx Salons are intimate, community-driven events designed to spark deep dialogue, connection, and idea exchange around a focused theme. Unlike the main TEDx stage events, Salons are shorter, more interactive gatherings—think panel discussions, fireside chats, networking, or live experiences that dive into timely topics with local impact. We create to stay connected year-round, showcasing new voices, and engaging your audience in meaningful conversation between larger TEDxBelltown Women events.

They are sculpting their careers in new ways and sharing their stories.

While TED began as an exclusive conference focused on Technology, Entertainment, and Design, its influence was limited to those in the room—until the TEDx program launched in 2009. TEDx was created to decentralize conversations and allow local communities to host independently organized events under the TED brand.
